Group Fitness Classes


Classes are open to DoD ID card holders and their guests, ages 16 years and older.

Class Locations & Schedules

Group fitness classes on Ft. Bragg are held at Hercules PFC, Towle Courts PFC and Tolson Indoor Pool.

Prices & Purchase Options

Single class

  • $4 per class
  • Tokens are the required method of payment (without a class pass) for classes held at Hercules PFC and Towle Courts PFC. Single class tokens are available for purchase via token dispensers located at the fitness center host sites. Exact change in one, five, or ten dollar bills are required for token purchases.

Class pass

  • 10 class pass: $35 ($3.50 per class)
  • 20 class pass: $50 ($2.50 per class)

  • Class passes expire 1-year from date of purchase.

Pricing does not apply to WELLBEATSTM virtual group fitness classes. WELLBEATSTM classes are free.

Class Descriptions
  • Athletic Step
    A simple and fun class using a height adjustable step. Great functional workout to tone the lower body and increase overall conditioning.  

  • Aqua Spin
    Tired of a normal spin class? If the answer is "yes", then join us for Aqua Spin!

  • Boot Camp
    Interval training alternating various body sculpting moves and aerobic exercises on the step, with barbells, bands, or weights.

  • Cardio Blast
    Interval cardio class that is highly effective for conditioning and shredding fat. It will get your heart pounding and sweat pouring as you improve your fitness, agility, coordination, and strength with exciting music and energy. BOOM!    

  • Cardio Jam Express
    Cardio Jam Express has it all. Feel the music & move your body to the beat. This easy to follow 40 minutes class will push your limits.

  • Core
    Utilizing both the mat and the stability ball, this low impact class provides high impact results!  The focus of exercises activate all the core muscles using a variety of sequences, leaving you feeling strong, flexible, and balanced.

  • Cycling
    Cycling is more than just a workout - it’s a comprehensive group cycling training program, designed to fit into a periodization schedule. Each session has a specific purpose and is carefully designed and timed to energize, challenge and empower students to achieve their health and fitness goals

  • Hip Hop Abs
    Mix the fun of hip-hop dance with a great ab workout! Guaranteed to be a good time!!

  • Kickboxing
    Kickboxing is aerobic exercise combined with boxing and traditional martial arts movements. Strengthen & tone your muscles with a variety of punches, strikes and kicks to develop killer legs, toned arms and abs while giving your heart a great cardio workout.   

  • Pilates
    Designed to strengthen the core, lengthen the spine, build balanced muscle tone, and increase body awareness, this mat exercise workout is an invigorating and fun way to get in shape!  It’s low impact but the intensity level is your choice!  

  • RIPPED                                                                                                              
    A fitness program that encompasses all aspects of physical fitness which R.I.P.P.E.D is an acronym for: Resistance, Interval, Power, Plyometric, Endurance and Diet

  • Sculpted
    For that lean, toned look with fast results.  Sculpted is a total body strength and conditioning workout combining the benefits of traditional weight training and great music. The original barbell workout.

  • Strength & Cardio
    This class will push you by training hard using a variation of cardio (high intensity), strength (w/ weights, band or body strength). You will feel like a champion after this class.

  • Water Aerobics
    Take the plunge and try this low-impact workout that builds muscle strength and boosts your endurance. ... Each water aerobics class includes a warm-up, cardio and strength-training exercises, and a cooldown

  • Yoga

    • Hatha Yoga
      This focuses on the breath (pranayama) and yoga poses. This class will be a gentle yoga. Slow and great for beginners or students who prefer a more relaxed style. Poses are held longer.

    • Yin Yoga
      This is a quiet simple practice but not necessarily easy. Yin Yoga works deeply into your body. This targets the deepest tissue, ligaments, joints, bones and deep fascia rather than the muscles.

    • Flow Yoga
      This is a practice that links movement and breath. Movements flow from one pose to another. The class will flow through sun salutations and postures designed to build internal heat slowly and gently.

    • Restorative Yoga
      This practice typically involves only five or six poses, supported by props that allow you to completely relax and rest. These poses are held for a longer time, restorative poses can include light twists, seated forward folds, and gentle back bends.

  • Zumba
    (Zumba® Latin Dance-Fitness) Zumba® Fanatics achieve long term health benefits while experiencing an absolute blast in one exhilarating hour of caloric-burning, body-energizing, awe-inspiring movements meant to engage and captivate for life!

  • WELLBEATSTM ( FREE Virtual Class)

    • TKO (kickboxing conditioning)
      TKO is non-stop movement to channel one’s inner fighter.  Benefit from the power behind the punch and total-body training.  A fusion of martial arts disciplines, each class includes a combination of punches, kicks, strikes, and techniques for a knockout experience.    

    • Rev (performance cycling)
      Experience the ‘best ride’ of your life with our Rev cycling classes.  Maximize calorie burn and increase cardio and muscle endurance with our unique mix of sprints, climbs, intervals, drills, terrain and technique training to challenge you in every class.    

    • Fusion (yoga/pilates meld)
      Invigorating and vitalizing, each WELLBEATSTM Fusion class is the perfect integration of yoga and Pilates exercises, with attention to breath, form, flow and body balance.

    • Stomp (all around step)
      WELLBEATSTM Stomp is truly a ‘step revival’… as step was originally meant to be taught - Go up, over and around the step for a total body, cardio-driven workout.  Easy to follow yet inventive step patterns make Stomp doable and fun!  Give this fresh take on step a try!

Hourly Child Care Options

Interested in group fitness classes but need hourly child care?  Hourly child care options are available through CYS. Children must be registered with CYS. For more infromation, visit Hourly Care.

Be a Group Fitness Instructor

We are looking for certified Instructors to teach specialty and variety classes at Hercules Physical Fitness Center and Towle Courts Physical Fitness Center. Must meet program list of qualifications and pass background checks.
