Come one, come all to experience the beauty and majesty that is the North Carolina Chinese Lantern Festival at Koka Booth Amphitheatre in Cary, North Carolina.

Beyond beautiful lanterns, the festival also welcomes a showcase of Chinese culture, the art of lantern making dating back more than 2,000 years, with crafting skills being passed down from one generation to the next.

Enjoy the lanterns during the “Golden Hour". This ticket type presents the perfect backdrop for memory making photos! Your ticket will grant you early entry and reduced crowds, giving you a bit more time and extra room to explore.

Cost/ Registration: $45 per person. Register at the Equipment Checkout Center, deadline to register November 16, 2026. Open to DoW ID cardholders ages 13 and over.

Pick up/Drop off: At the Equipment Checkout Center located off Smith Lake Rd. in the Smith Lake Campgrounds Recreation area.
