Dates/time: 3rd Wednesday of every month, 4-5 pm
Limited to the first 24 students in Kindergarten - 5th grade to arrive. First come, first served. Upon arrival on the day of the event, pick up a number at the Children's Room Desk to reserve your child's place. As per Fort Bragg regulations, parents or guardians must remain with and directly supervise children under the age of 10 at all times while in the library, including during S.T.E.A.M.

Celebrate Love Your Library Month at STEAM! Learn about and experiment with different book making methods. Then create your very own handmade book to take home! - Mar 15: Etch Art into Metal!
Join us to explore intaglio and relief art print techniques and then use the power of science (and a 9-volt battery) to etch art into metal! - Apr 19: Super Spy!
Get ready to have some secret fun at our spy STEAM event! We will encode and decode a message, break a ciphered message using frequency analysis, and mix up a batch of invisible ink. - May 17: Tornados & Storm Science
Hurricane season in North Carolina is June 1st through Nov 30th. Get ready by getting the inside story on storms! We'll do experiments illustrating storm physics and then make barometers for students to take home.
