Do you have a loved one with Down Syndrome or other intellectual or developmental disability? Regardless of their age now, you need to prepare for life after high school. What happens after the school bus stops coming? You need a plan, and planning starts now! Discussion will cover the transition to adulthood and several tools to help your Family get there smoothly:

  •  When does the transition start?
  •  What is involved?
  •  How do I get to my end goal?

Presentation by Donna Beckmann, North Carolina Down Syndrome Alliance Advocacy and Outreach Director and mother of Thomas, age 20, who happens to have Down Syndrome.

To ensure the safety of staff and guests, all individuals, regardless of vaccination status, must wear facial coverings while in our facilities.
