Skiing and snowboarding are high-interest, enjoyable activities that provide an excellent opportunity to appreciate what is offered geographically in western North Carolina.

- Time: Each trip will depart from Smith Lake Recreation Area at 5 a.m. and return at 11 p.m.
Open to DoD ID card holders and up to 2 guests; ages 16 years and older only. Any participant under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Please note: customer is responsible if rental equipment is returned damaged.
Cost
Prices listed below are per person, per trip.
Beech Mountain:
- Lift ticket (bring your own equipment) $100
- Lift and ski rental $120
- Lift and snowboard rental $130
- Lesson $15 (if added to any of the above)
Sugar Mountain:
- Lift ticket (bring your own equipment) $110
- Lift and ski rental $130
- Lift and snowboard rental $140
- Lesson $19 (if added to any of the above)
Price includes transportation. Fees are non-refundable.
