Basic Barbell Training

Dates: Every month, with classes beginning on the 1st Tuesday (unless federal holiday) of each month.

Days/Times: Tuesday and Thursday, 6-7 a.m., 5-6 p.m. or 6-7 p.m.
Cost: $60 per month, per person
Location: Tucker Performance Enhancement Center (PEC)

The Basic Barbell Training Course teaches the 5 primary barbell movements (squat, dead-lift, bench press, overhead press and the hang clean). You will receive training and knowledge of how to appropriately perform the 5 basic movements as well as a personalized strength and conditioning program.

Instruction is provided by Andrew K., CSCS, NSCA-CPT.

Classes are open to DoD ID card holders and their guests, ages 16 years and older.

Advanced Barbell Training

Cost: $60 per month, per person
Location: Tucker Performance Enhancement Center (PEC)

Barbell Strength & Conditioning Program (Advanced Barbell Training Course): A strength training course using the 5 barbell exercises that will develop ones strength capacity and increase fitness levels. Patrons will receive coaching and correction on technique and form as necessary. A personal strength and conditioning program will be provided and monitored monthly for all patrons.

Instruction is provided by Andrew K., CSCS, NSCA-CPT.

Personal Training

Reach your fitness goals with a certified personal trainer. Training sessions are located at one of our 14 MWR fitness centers.

Programs

  • Individual: 1-on-1 training with a certified personal trainer to meet your maximum fitness goals
  • Buddy: 2 clients train together with one personal trainer to meet their goals.

  • Cecilia J. - As a personal trainer, I focus on weight loss, improving and maintaining fitness levels.
    Motto: You have to get uncomfortable to get comfortable.

  • Danielle W. - As a personal trainer, I focus on weight loss, weight gain, strength gain,  Cardiovascular endurance, Injury prevention &  Injury recovery.
    Motto: “Exercise is a celebration of what your body can do, not a punishment for what you ate.”

  • Grace B. - 5 years as a personal trainer, focuses on  weight Loss, Toning, sculpting, strength and general health.

  • Khalil S. - Khalil is a NASM Master Trainer, who specializes in Performance Enhancement Training. He believes that it’s very important for people to move efficiently; therefore, building a strong foundation is a key element of his training.
    Khalil has more than 10 years of training experience, as well, he is a former Ft Bragg and All Army Boxer.

  • Nick Faircloth - A trainer whose primary focus is on injury rehabilitation and prevention, as well as functional strength training for those who have specific goals in mind.
    Motto: Être Fort Pour Être Utile (Be strong to be useful- French origin)

  • Rachel E. - 20 years' experience as a personal trainer. Focuses are on muscular strength, endurance and competition training. Emphasis on the importance of a healthy lifestyle.

  • Sela W. - As a personal trainer I focus on strength and muscle toning through corrective exercises.
    Motto: Choose the harder right, not the easier wrong.

Individual Personal Training Program

  • $35 for 1 session
  • $150 for 5 sessions
  • $260 for 10 sessions

Buddy Personal Training Program (2 person max)

  • $60 for 1 session
  • $200 for 5 sessions
  • $275 for 10 sessions
