Location: Smith Lake Recreation Area
Join us for BOSS Operation Teal Ruck - The SHARP Awareness Ruck to raise awareness and promote available resources during Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month (SAAPM).
This event, hosted by BOSS, is designed to symbolize the mental and emotional weight that sexual assault and harassment can have on service members. The ruck march signifies that no matter how heavy the burden, there are always resources and support systems available to assist.
In recognition that every individual's experience is unique, there will be no ruck weight requirement for participants. This reinforces the idea that every situation is different, and the journey to healing is personal.
The primary goal of this event is to increase awareness of the programs and resources available to service members, ensuring they know who they can lean on for support. By coming together for this ruck march, we can enhance the quality of life for our Soldiers and foster a community of support and understanding.
We encourage all to participate and stand in solidarity with survivors of sexual assault and harassment. Your presence will help to shine a light on the importance of SAAPM and the resources available to our entire military community.
