Ready to make a splash? Join us for the annual Polar Plunge at Smith Lake, where brave souls drive into icy waters just for the thrill of it! Whether you're plunging, cheering, or just here for the laughs (and hot cocoa), it's guaranteed to be a cool time. Bundle up, bring your friends, and get ready to chill – literally! 🥶

Free meals to the first 250 people, provided by the Gary Sinise Foundation (as supplies last, first come first served)!

• Warm drinks and a warming area will be available on Smith Lake Beach starting at 9 am.
• All registered participants will receive a Fort Bragg Polar Bear Plunge T-shirt.
• At 11 am, the horn will blow to start the event. Be there in time so you don't miss out!

Registration at Smith Lake Outdoor Recreation Center by January 30, 2026 confirms that you will receive a Fort Bragg Polar Bear Plunge T-shirt. Day of registration is available at Smith Lake Recreation Center while supplies last..
