How old does my pet have to be to attend daycare/boarding?

Pet(s) must be a minimum of four (4) months of age and have completed all shot series to attend daycare and board at Paws on Post.

Does my pet have to be spayed or neutered to attend boarding or daycare?

No, your pet(s) do not have to be spayed or neutered to attend daycare or boarding.  Please be aware that any pet that is not spayed or neutered starting at 6mo of age will be in individual play or will stay within their family.

Why are pets required to be dropped off and picked up during certain times?

We request all pets be dropped off and picked up during the required timeframes so that pets are not passing each other and reduce the likelihood of an incident, to allow staff ample time to properly clean kennels to keep all pet(s) safe and healthy, and to allow kennel(s) to be ready for pets being dropped off in a timely manner.

All pet(s) dropped off prior to or picked up after the set times will incur an additional $20 on each end.

What must I provide during my pet’s stay?

Food: provide enough food for the duration of your pet’s stay to include a few extra days.  All food must be provided in an airtight container (to prevent pests) and labeled with the pet and owner’s name. Pet parents can provide the kennel with their pet’s own blankets, etc. but we are not responsible for the condition of the items upon return or that they will be returned due to their condition.
